ISB Cargo Claim Co is managed by a CCPAC Certified Claims Professional. We have intimate knowledge of the logistics industry, having worked with shippers, freight brokers, and carriers for over 30 years. We manage cargo claims related to product damage; shortage; accident; and theft; after a loss, we aim to make you whole again. We understand that rapid response is critical with certain types of cargo, such as perishables, where mitigation of loss declines as time ticks on – where a claim may go from limited to full loss if not acted upon quickly. We haves a proven claims track record with companies ranging from large multinationals to small craft businesses, on a wide array of commercial cargo.
We have seen the all-too-frequent costly results of badly managed claims.

Communication & Information
We manage all our clients’ claims with a top of the line freight claim management software. We can provide client with the claim file at any time, as well as various standard format, or custom designed, reports. Problem trends may be identified by being able to sort claim data in dozens of ways to gain key insights. The software provides filtering capabilities that include:
» filtering by product which allows us to identify products that may need of improved packaging;
» filtering by carrier, which allows us to identify carriers that may be problematic
» claim reason, in conjunction with shipper and location, or consignee and location, allows us to identify warehouses, distributors, and consignees perhaps in need of additional training
» a carrier may filter by driver name to identify drivers with high claim incidences;
» and much more
Requested claim reports may be delivered to client on regularly scheduled-basis.

IRENE BOHINC
Irene Bohinc has extensive experience in the transportation and logistics industry – first as co-owner and CEO of Coachman Transport Services Inc., an award-winning LTL/FTL carrier that specialized in door-to-door transport service between Quebec, Ontario, and the U.S., and then as cargo claims manager for two of the largest freight brokerage firms in North America, XPO Logistics and Traffic Tech. She is an M.B.A. graduate of McGill University, and has been a CCPAC Certified Claims Professional.
It is from this background and experience that Irene saw the real need for Shippers, 3PLs, and Carriers to have trained, knowledgeable, and well-versed cargo claims specialists handling their cargo claims, and assessing measures that could be implemented to reduce their claim incidents and costs.
It is from this industry need, and Irene’s passion for providing superior customer service, that ISB Cargo Claims Co. was created – to provide an easy, efficient, and cost-effective cargo claim processing service that allows companies to outsource their cargo claim headaches and receive optimal results in the least stressing manner.

Irene Bohinc is an M.B.A. graduate of McGill University, and a CCPAC Certified Claims Professional, who grew up in Quebec’s beautiful Eastern Townships.
